We're going to stop this "outstanding" thing now. Thanks.

the way their knees move when running is very reminiscent of the beta versions. did anyone notice the huge puddles that are created when running through aztec's sewer/river?

Yeap I did, though it was a little much. But it looks awesome, except in the vids I never did see any X-Hairs.

The lack of a HUD or crosshairs could have been because of how the demo was recorded. I'm sure Valve wouldn't leave those out of the game. I also think the walking looks more realistic, especially when the Terrorists are sidestepping out of the water and onto dry land between the stairs and the ramp, right before the CTs attack from the stairs. The water splashing is a bit much, especially since the water is so shallow. It seems like it would obscure vision. I'm sure Valve is still adjusting lots of stuff, but even if they keep the splashes like that it won't be a big deal since so few maps have water anyway. Oh, and the T's hands look awesome when he's planting the bomb. I hope we get to see more of CS source soon, it makes my heart soar.

I think it's cool (the models). But it's hard to tell with the low quality videos floating out there.

Has anyone asked if CS-source will be free if you buy HL2?

Ive heard you will have to buy it. But im stick sticking with the gut feeling that they arent going to charge you for CS again, especially with CS2 comming out. Then we would have, CS 1.5, CS-on-Steam 1.6, CS:Source, and CS2.

Well, Gabe said that all hl1 content will be transfered to source, for a small fee of course. Then again, they introduced cssource (css...damn, that abbreviation is allready taken) as the multiplayer part of hl2. Would be quite disturbing to charge for the multiplayer part separately.

I don't think it's been officially decided yet, but we're talking about Valve here so you'll probably get it for free (depending on which version of HL2 you buy I guess).

i think cs:source should be free if they're going have counter-strike 2 made.

it's going to be weird with cs 1.6 and cs source. i think it's going to split community.

like if it wasn't already splitted with cs1.5, cs1.6 and cscz.

this week I updated my server list in cs1.5 and there were in the 5000 and you have around 30000 cs1.6 server and 3000 cscz servers.

Valve really needs to shut down WON and integrate the CZ multiplayer code into CS 1.6 before CSS becomes available. This will take 3 groups, and turn it into one. Then you have the next-gen engine, versus the current one, and 2 neat groups emerge; at least, until CS2 comes out, which will create the same mess, but let's ignore that for now.
