Ok, I just got kicked from Spliff's in about 30 seconds because "an illegal cheat was found" on my computer. It threatened to ban me for repeat violations.
You're right. There is something wrong. Damn.
EDIT: So can anyone list another server that kicks everyone? Is it happening on more than just this one?Comment

Wow, I just tried to connect to another server and it gave me a 24hour ban.
I cant figure out why I was singled out, 13 other people were playing in there, but I was kicked and banned right when I entered.
I have:
Win XP Home SP1
Geforce 4 ti4200 overclocked a little.
I use Reforce to fix the 60fps issue with win xp
I connect with ASE
I run Norton Anti-Virus and Ad-Subtract.Comment

Note: This kicks only from CS servers. DoD servers are not affected by this issue... (or so it seems). Good thing to have a Steam account, man...
Win XP SP1
Athlon 1.4
GF2MX (Detonator 40.72beta)
InoculateIT 6.0 (antivirus)
Trillian pro
Connected via console and Steam when kickedComment

Maybe it's also important to note that VALVE KNOWS ABOUT THIS. They are working as fast as they can to fix the issue. I think DaveJ's comment might turn out to be accurate, though.
But who the hell knows what's wrong, unless you're a bit or byte in the computer itself? :pComment

Well, it appears that Vavle's latest VAC release was a blunder... If you were banned from a server by VAC, the reason is VALVe made a mistake. Just sit tight, restart your servers to re-download the previous module, and there should be a fix tomorrow.
we've reverted the modules to the last public versions until we can track down the problem. We should have a fix tomorrow.
