So does this mean that 2/5 players probably cheat? :P (=40%)

And this sound like they were kind of "professional", or at least pretty
I'd speculate at the highest 2% of the pros could be cheaters. These are few and far between and create the greatest disturbance.

On pubs back in 1.3 I frequently said 20% of the players cheat. But now maybe 1 in 10 at the highest could cheat.

I'm lucky since I have admin on the server I frequent the most. Plus the server is somewhat local. Many of the players are college aged and know one and another and trust each other. Probably the best way to choice a server to play on if it is an option.

I think it would be funny if someone made a "hack accusuation movie" of someone like moto or ksharp, but say it is of someone else. I would guess that half of you people would say he is obviously cheating too.

There are a lot of factors you can't see in the movies that let you know where the enemy is.
I hate to break it to you, but there's more than just a movie, NavySeal was stupid enough to post his demo as well. (Anybody remember when Daniel got kicked out?) And guess what ladies? In the demo, you CAN hear the sound. And no, there's no explaining several events, because there was no sound. There's also additional things like flashbangs fizzling, but (due to his no-flash script) NavySeal thought they should have blinded him if he wasn't hacking, so he pretends to be blind, even yells that over the voice comm, and points towards a random corner.

As far as your comment as to ksharp or any other 3D player, the fact of the matter is many of us have watched MANY demos from them, and never had reason to suspect hacking. We were often damn amazed by some of the tallent shown, but tallent and hacking just don't look the same. A tallented player checks his back, watches out for traps, and doesn't always know where the enemy is. A hacker forgets to check danger spots, because he already knows there's nobody there.

This guy was new to 2c, hasn't proved himself on LAN, and I'm glad they kicked him (as well as Wood) out, because the hacking, and subsequent attempt of those two to cover it up, was a disgrace to not only the clan, but the league as well.

And as much as I may like The Second Coming normally, the fact is that I didn't expect them to have a chance in hell against eminence. It was this hacker's (what was it, 21-3?) non-legit score that barely allowed 2c to edge out e-- 13-11. A rematch, at this point in time, would be just a further insult to both teams, and wouldn't change the outcome. 2c is taking the loss as a punishment for not screening their players carefully enough. I say, hats off to both teams for dealing with this so well.

This is the same sort of "almost rational" bullshit that happened in the general community before VAC came into play. A "talented player" also gets as many lucky bullshit shots as any random Joe Pubber. Lucky shots -something that happen frequently in ALL levels of play- are also what makes subtle cheating hard to detect, which leads into the fact that "talent" and OBVIOUS CHEATING are the 2 things that don't look the same. Most of us are simply amazed by the amount of grade A hogshit and exploits that happen in the stead of actual "talent" in those demos. 3D also doesn't get questioned mostly because their tag is 3D. This isn't a statement saying that 3D cheats or that Navy is clean, it's a statement that your reasoning sucks olestra-induced shit.

A rematch is a rematch; it'd allow the better team to come out on top PERIOD. No questions asked, aside from the aforementioned luck crap that we ALL know to exist in CS. Winning because another clan had unknown cheaters is as much of a "bitch win" as winning because YOUR clan had unknown cheaters, since the point of leagues and competition is to find out who is better at playing and not who is better at screening their members. 2c is idiotically taking the loss as a punishment for something they supposedly had no knowledge of considering since either way, under the current circumstances, neither clan actually EARNED that win if cheaters were present.

I'm a little confused. If the clan was not sure that they were in fact cheating and cut them, how is that professional? Also, isn't jumping on the cheat accusation bandwagon exactly what is wreaking CS? Help me! I'm confused.
