Heres the point: the guy obviously is not well educate from the way hes speaking, or was just in a hurry. Either way, AoWC does A LOT for the CAL and people bad mouthing them is BS. What if they didn't do ANYTHING for CAL? Then youd really have something to complain about.

wow, sad to see both CAL and CSNation pimping themselves off so much for AoWC.. but what can I say, thats why companies will sponsor things...

Either way, DeadHeart is rock bottom in my opinion. He claimed on the DoG comments that by not supporting AoWC you don't support and don't belong in your (cs?) community. That bullshit and bordering on a type of non-committal blackmail...

I cannot stand aowc because they have lied without fail to me and hundereds of other cal players -- I claim "this HLTV is down" or "this HLTV is giving 80+ loss... and an AoWC 'representative' claims that there is no problem, that "its running smooth for everyone else" ...

Of course, they are comparing to the HLTV match with only 5 spectators, or looking at a good ping as reason to disregard someone complaining about loss and choke.

I guess my point is that AoWC is using sponsorship to get out mass advertising to thier primary target-market; however, they try to use the little controll granted by sponsorship to supress, rather than address, any negative feedback/testimonials from the community.

DeadHeart has become a true monster, who tries to humiliate and discredit all who state the (sad) facts about AoWC, even if they are only providing the FACTS about thier specific connection to an AoWC server.

But I cant really complain, I forgot that CAL no longer supports free speach, and as CSNation s sponsored by AoWC, I've already forsaken my community by not blindly supporting DeadHeart and his minnions. Guess I better go learn to play war3 =0

BTW I TOTALY AGREE WITH #24

Where in this news post or comments there have we "pimped" ourselves to them? I would bet that AoWC would have been better served if we didn't bring this up.

Also, you misused the verb pimp.

Edit: I seriously cannot believe how bad your brain is failing you. If they are giving us money to supress "negative community opinions" then your post would no longer exist nor would the ones before it. Why don't you give us some credit? We have a very popular comments system because we do not delete people's opinions; none of our sponsors are going to change that nor have they tried to

I suppose that was unfair of me to say, you're simply meeting thier sponsorship half-way.

And yes, AoWC probably would hav been better served if it was not brought up, however, the reason is entirely there fault -- If they had spent thier time writing about how they're planning to improve on a flawed network, and not ways to cover up and deny existing problems, they wouldn't have to be woried about such frequent outlashing form the community.

I don't know what that means. Also, I say the word "sponsor" but in reality they are advertising on our site for their own benefit. This is not a one way street like with CAL.

Whether they brought it upon themselves is irrelevant, I am not opposed to this story being published. I am opposed to accusations of us being under their thumb.

                              Thanks for the compliment...

I should have been more clear that much of what I was saying was based on the AoWC talk in the domainofgames.com comments. It is, unfortunately, nearly impossible for anybody to fully understand the train of talk (not on forums, simply on new-article comments), as many of the critical comments (and ill-chose responses from DeadHeart) are long deleted.

I do appreciate how freely one can talk on csnation, I didnt mean that they had any controll over the comments here, although I would hate for them to get as great of a foot-hold as they have with CAL.

Not to mention i was kinda pissed after watching CPL finals with 1/4 of my screen showing an AoWC add....

                              ----

I should clairify, I know and am very happy that you guys aren't biased in one way or annother towards a certain service provider -- How can you be if you have multiple hosting companies that advertise at the same time. I just sometimes fear AoWC spreading like microsoft

If aowc provided quality servers this argument would have never arisen?

**not sure if arisen has 1 or 2 r's, no flames pls**
