      There's probably no connection between the terrorists and the Gunman, since he wants money and uses guns that they wouldn't normally use, so blame it on the news reporters who made us paranoid about two things instead of one.

      Oh yeah, have they found out that it's really a man who shot all of the victims? Police are dumbasses if they search people's vehicles and not know who they're looking for.

        You're a fucking moron, guns were mainly meant to protect lives and are the only defense in many cases. I believe there are less shootings but MORE thefts in Europe BECAUSE of the fact that thieves know that their victims will be unarmed. Also, banning guns will only stop lawful citizens from going through the process of getting guns, including background checks, etc. IT STILL WON'T STOP CRIMINALS FROM ILLEGALLY OBTAINING GUNS.
        Was the firearm invented in the prospect of protecting people? It's obvious that guns were invented as a more powerful alternative to bows/crossbows, which were weapons used to kill something that was alive[food or people]. Guns are mainly meant to take lives, not protect them. Ever wonder where a lot of criminals get their guns? They steal them from lawful gun owners, in the process of robbing them. I can't wait for Bowling for Columbine to come out, maybe it'll be an eye opener for a few ppl.
        Hey dipshit, just because the sniper might be of a certain country does NOT mean that we will raid/bomb/destroy that country. After 9-11, did we go bomb the country of Afghanistan? NO, WE BOMBED AL QUEDA RETARD. If it IS a terrorist faction/regime, then yes, we will go after THEM, NOT THEY'RE COUNTRY!
        Afghanistan was the only country bombed in retaliation. Anyone from the middle east was immediately branded as a pariah, regardless of the fact that many Afghans were willing to take up arms against the Taliban. Of course that's beside the point, the fact is, the only country to take any heat for the actions of Al-Qaeda was Afghanistan. Don't even bother to say Iraq is the next target as a terrorist hotbed, because it has less of a connection to terrorist organizations than America. How many civilians were taken out in the occupation of Afghanistan? At least 4,000 in the assault on Kabul alone.

        As for the sniper, claiming that someone can get experience from a point and click shooter like CS is like claiming that you learned the fine art of sword play from playing Diablo 2, which also has roughly the same effect as banging your head against the wall repeatedly.

            Where did you get your information? Al Jazerra? Iraq TV? And keep in mind that it was the Northern Alliance (Afghan soldiers) that actually took Kabul, not US troops. And Kabul wasn't carpet bombed either.

            Not all Americans are as pigheaded as the ones you've met, Vaishino. I'll admit that we have some shitty people representing our country, but there's a difference between KKK redneck racist butthead and your ordinary American.

                stop pretending you know what you're talking about. a sniper, or any other gunman would aim for the torso/chest region. it's a bigger target. no, what you learned from cs isn't real, sorry kiddie.

Watch "Enemy At the Gates" if you haven't yet...you'll learn what REAL snipers like Vassili Zaitsev and Major Koning did.

                        However the weapon is not the SA80, it is the L98 Cadet GP Rifle, with no SUSAT sight or semi/full auto function. You moron.
                        I refer you to my post pre ban on the similar subject where i sttae dthat the sa-80 was fired in the l98 single shot version and I didnt get to fire an sa80 till i got into Officer Cadet at Uni Air Squadron. For a supposed police officer your tolerance levels are terrible, or do you often call poeple a moron uneccesarily.? The level of knowledge you display is more that of a nutter obsessed ala Michael Ryan, rather than a true officer. The poiint of the post which you quoted was quite simple. I AM a good shot but not necessarily on a game, QED A good CS player is not necessarily a good sniper/shot. Jeez

                        Amen to all of what you wrote. We may have more robbery (I find that extremely hard to believe) But we certainly have less fatalities due to less people getting shot. If your shootings in the US are crime defence related then you still have far more crime than us so STFU u is wrong wrong and thrice wrong. Wy cant you be nice to eahc other. Stop being so devisive and fix your own countries homelessness and economy, and leave the world alone. Oh, and wars should be settled by massive online battkes where noone gets killed!!

                          Jack the Ripper was a serial killer, very few serial killers use guns. And it happened a hundred years before we made gun ownership illegal so it kinda defies your own point, Aragorn.

                            In every country everywhere there are people who can't control their anger at one point or the other, criminals or not, and then it's better that those people don't have easy access to guns which they could use in their anger.. That's the whole point of gunlaws imho..

                            I'm glad I can't just go out and buy a gun in my country because I have to "protect" myself.. And if I had to carry a gun for protection, I would move, no way I want to live in a place like that..

                            Violence = good

                              Serial killers tend not to use guns yes, but your average one time only killer does use a gun, and don't they tend to cause more deaths together than serial killers?

                                Yes, I'm not saying they don't. Aragorn was using Jack the Ripper as a bad example that in Europe people will still go on murderous rampages without guns or something.
