Let's mock the media for calling the M4A1 a sniper rifle, instead of praising at least one source of giving the OTHER side of the picture and not calling CS a murderer's tool. Do you have any perspective at all, or are you stuck in a world where CS' facts and stats are the only meaningful things available?



By role-playing, the author means playing the role as a terrorist or as a CT. By sniping, she means shooting from a concealed place (which I agree isn't what always happens in CS, but sniping has nothing to do with scopes or distance).

rofl, nice rizzuh..some people live to hate :P ..anyway, i'm glad that they're talking about how fps games are not being used as a tool for this guy, but what a sad state of affairs that they even have to.. they don't, really, as cs and the entire industry are pretty much invincible, but still.. it says alot about the intelligence of the general population if they're willing to believe the media's general opinion about the entire situation

Yep, its true, ive played counter-strike for about two years now, and thanks to the practice, mostly knowing when to pull out a knife so i can move faster, i can cover a massive distance in a few hours, something that normally takes great military or other training to achieve. Hell, if i wanted to i could terrorize a few fucking states at once, seeing as how its trained me to avoid police, fbi, and other government officals.

They have to point the finger somewhere, and even though it's an uneducated point, CS is a large target. The role playing can be associated with just about anybody shooting anything with anything that has to do with a gun, and as most of you know guns are big in the US. I'm surprised we haven't heard more stories like this.



I just can't wait until some moron claims "they're all nubs."

Who says he doesn't take pride in his work? Maybe he does in his twisted mindset.



Also, I was watching Fox news one night and they said that he wasn't very good cuz he hasn't hit anyone in the head yet. The next victim, that FBI lady, took a shot to the skull.



Just because he doesn't aim at the head doesn't mean he can't hit it. He's already proven that he can make a headshot with his weapon.



They should probably pass some of the blame around to Americas Army instead of CS all the time. That game is much more likely to be used as training than CS.....hell its made by the Army in the first place.

A sniper is someone who shoots from a concealed location. Not all snipers aim for the head either. As for taking pride in their work, I don't think "professional" snipers bust out the wine after killing someone else.
