I think I played in al-ain once. it sucked! everything you said is true. I live in dubai where LANs are much better, depending on which one u play on.

Maybe the Emirates play as T's because the only Arabic-looking player model is on T side. Or maybe they don't want to support western imperialist forces. Maybe someone should ask. I think it might be significant that they always chose T if all the player models looked the same. Did they all use the same T model? Maybe they just thought that the red headband was real cool.

hm the guy who wrote it seemed to be quite a newbie too. U can only give everybody 16000 not just urself... Very nearly NOBODY in internet cafés or on pubs has a desire to accomplish map objectives or play in any other way apart from improving their own scores. By the way, WTF does it have to do with the guy being a turk that he doesn't know how to run a network?

Okay ... the part about the 16000 to everyone is not true, at least in the case of the cafe where I was playing. You could only give yourself 16000 by typing something or another in the console, I can't remember what. Second, I hear what you're saying about LANs here, but it's really much more apparent there than here. Have you bumped into teams that are all AWM, camping T spawn on Havana? Finally, the mention that he was Turkish has nothing to do with his abilities in running the network. Rather, I was trying to reinforce the idea that the workforce is largely comprised of foreigners, a point i make earlier in the essay.
