Delays seem to have become a VALVe (spelled right?) hallmark. I was expecting december anyway, maybe they'll spring a christmas delay...

when the 1.4 beta came for the public, i thought it was incredibly gay and played it once. when the 1.6 beta comes out, the new stuff is going to be either incredibly overpowered or incredibly underpowered, meaning you'll either be playing 1.5 or something really dumb. stop whining, this is really a good delay, believe me

i swear i will never prepay for any game ever again. if a simple update is delayed this much. it makes feel like CS/CZ or my $40 will never be seen. has this happened before where a game that probably thousands of people payed for is never released?

the only thing keeping me interested in playing CS now is the little server i put together. new weapons and maps are cool but i think it's the people that keep the game fun after years of play.

Wasn't it originally thought that 1.6 would be released simultaneously with CZ hitting the shelves? I don't see why people are complaining now that it looks like 1.6 is going to be available before CZ.

We wouldn't know either way, as apart from what rizzuh has scraped up on 1.6 we haven't really heard any official valce announcements.

A month ago valve said it would be out in November, then within a week or 2 of its release, they suddenly decide they need another month... We understand its a beta and is going to be updated several times before it's release as 1.4 was, so why not release it. Everyone understands it is a beta.

Hey i think you guys should settle down like omg a month i know we where all excited but jus think one more month and we will all be enjoying c 1.6 then in 1 quater next year CS:CZ is out yeah!! i haven't really have problems with updates but i have only been around since 1.3

but yeah give valve a break like cs is a mod when they first started they did it for free there no that big of a buisnnesss there just starting to get the money now from ads on there web site ext... when cs:cz comes out every one better buy it

I'm sure this is all down to Steam2 rather than any problems with 1.6.
