the R is coupled with the o to form 'Or', denoting the pronounciation of the o as in Awe! So teh r is virtually silent in Awp, however I disticntly feel that is I write that it was pronounced Awep some eedyats would say I meant A, wep.



Anyhoo, I can see this argument ´fractaling' into a beautiful image of sweet fa!

Where I live, there's no R sound in that at all. Must be a brit thing. Kind of like some of the brits who pronounce "Africa" (a-fri-kuh) as "Afriker" (a-fri-ker). Weirdos.



Oh, and no MikeJ, rizzuh isn't a moderator. rizzuh is the CSN version of god, unlike us mere demigods.

the weapon in counter-strike called the "AWP" should be called the "AWM".

Multiplayer is the best mode to play in. LAN is better. As for the other previous poll I usually called it either A,W,P and sometimes OP. A lot of people say OP.

Man, puffy cloud isn't as funny as you riz =(. no offense puffy, you're still funny =). I don't care how to pronounce it in real life, it will never come to good use. It's not like it's a gun in the army and you'll never get promoted to major if you keep saying it wrong. CS2? WTF is that? I hate condition zero and I hope the new stupid ass shield never comes to multiplayer. It's just another game for people that don't know how to play cs and wanna improve aim, like 56kers or newbies. I just want the online game to stay in a packed community =)

Oh well, no one's pronunciation of AWP could be stupider than mine: for about two or so years I pronounced it "A-WHOPPER". That is, until someone wondered over voicecom if my "a-whoppers" had cheese on them.
