I was always under the impression that CAL convinced the two finalists to play a close match just for the sake of having a good finals match. Bleh. (Only kidding for the fact that nearly ever finals match has ended 13-11 or the like, except that one match, either season 2 or 3, DoP vs X3, several DoP's lagged out midmatch and X3 ended up winning 16-8 or 18-6...was funny because Trigga played 1v5 X3 for several rounds. The final that season was on de_nuke..) Twas a strong showing from RIVAL, and unfortunately WEW didn't take the title. Would have been nice to see WEW take the title after their years of hard work, but perhaps the CPL will be a stronger showing.

I know a lot of people were asking about how come we were posting only one hltv ip, this is how it works ....



hltv.gamedaemons.net:27016 served as a bouncing server, as people connected it would redirect them to the other hltv proxies we had going. This is why when some people tried to ping the hltv they were getting no / or very little response.
