Later tonight the two best teams in online Counter-Strike in North America will go head-to-head. Earlier this week two favorites, zEx and 3D, were eliminated from competition. Tonight the Cyberathlete Amateur League's CS Invite division finishes its sixth season (recap). WEW vs Rival is the only match tonight, and all eyes will be looking on both teams to see
WEW, a team that has been with competitive CS from the start, and Rival, a relatively new group, will likely make a very interesting match. Rival, known as Precision Faction well before their June introduction to the CAL-i division, has proven itself this season. WEW has finally made it to the CAL-i finals after so many seasons. The victor of tonight's match will have much to prove at the LAN-based CPL Winter Event to be held next month in Texas. Tonight one team will win a crown that is not easy to attain and one that is a worthy status symbol. The other? There's always next season.

First half de_dust2 Rival was terrorist first. As most know, the T side is the dominant one on this map, so it was no surprise when Rival finished the half with an 8-4 lead. However, everyone was betting on a WEW comeback the next half - sadly, this didn't happen, as Rival took the first 5 rounds without much of a sweat to seal the deal.
