anyhoo, De Another Day is a quality movie, BUt the Two towers is what Xmas is all about. Although if you wanna see a cerebral movie which pays homage to classics such as Return of the Living Dead and even Resident Evil (WASNT THAT A GHREAT CONVERSION FILM!?)

go and See 28 Days Later. The film isnt a HORROR FLICK, MORE OF a post semi apocoliptic event type film.

I saw it Saturday, and the power cut which had the two blocks around my home, as well as the block my home is in, totally blacked out for four hours, totally scared the living shit out of me. So check it out.

Bond IS good, cos its BOND, ffs, You guys dont realise were all like that over here, suave, sophisticated, and ready to save the world without blowing everyone up in unecessary wars!!

Oh and the technology as gadgets in the film might not look so great because it is all acheivable technology. Yes thats right scientist are working on a refractive camouflage system, whihc will attempt to reflect refract whatever (longtime since physics) images from one side of an object to the other and vice versa rendering the object

            invisible

Anyhoo Happy Tanks Giving to y'all, its Eid soon, thats the end of Ramadan, the month of Fasting for us Muslims. And then Christmas, the real turkey holiday;>

So I guess its party time for everyone! I think its Rosh Hashannah too! So happy hannakah, I htink, thats what I say.

Agreed. For all you humor-impaired Europeans out there, that was a joke, so don't bother with the flaming. But yes, definitely happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the USA, have fun stuffing yourself, and perhaps take a moment and remember what the day is really about, eh? :)
ha.....ha......ha.....ha...I don't see anything funny in that "joke". It's a very-very-very strange humor for me, you know? Humour different on whole world, you know? So may be rizzuh will simply keep such jokes for Americans? Or may be he will just say "This is American site, not an international!" and I never come here anymore...

d00d I think his point was that the joke was there to spark a chuckle from Americans, and the Europeans need take no offense to it, and move on.

Yes. But I understand that only _after_ I read comments...I simply want to say that is not necessary to write jokes which not comprehensible for big part of readers or may cause misunderstanding...That is all what I what to say...Do not caught me wrong.

P.S. Forgive me for my bad english.

Newfr, it's that "bad english" you speak of which caused you to not understand the joke. If you were a regular english speaker, you'd probably catch the connotations that it had, but as a European (french?) it's apparent that you didn't. It's hardly fair to ask people to not use any sophisticated or clever humor simply because people who don't read the language as well won't understand them. I know I certainly would have no right to complain about, say, a french website having jokes I didn't understand about America, when I'm trying to use babelfish to translate it. :)

Regardless, I figured a few of you Euros would get all up tight over it, so my comment hopefully relieved the tension and angst that was brewing deep within you. :) No harm no foul, right?

Nah, our fatness varies. Coastal states in the US tend to have much thinner people than inner states, though. Maybe because the coastal states tend to attract more "trendy" people who tell us about the evils of deep-frying everything we eat. Ugh, go to Ohio or Virginia and such on the other hand... fat people everywhere, lol. :)
So I guess its party time for everyone! I think its Rosh Hashannah too! So happy hannakah, I htink, thats what I say.
Heh, Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) was in early September (the time varies from month to month, as the calendar it is based on is not gregorian, but it's always in sept or oct). There aren't any Jewish religious festivals in the winter, just Hanukkah, which is really a national holiday (much like Thanksgiving or the Fourth of July) rather than religious. But, I suppose it's good that you have some awareness of the holy days in other religions, as most people are probably going "Rosh Ha-what?" and wondering if Ramadan had anything to do with Bin-Laden and bombing. :)

Happy Mars day to all you Europeans, or whichever planet you end up on. Just think about it... your own planet where you could all live together, separate from the USA. I certainly hope it happens. And then I hope we get into a big war. That way we can start developing starships with lasers and hyperdrives and protocol droids and all sorts of awesome things like that.

Some of 0ur Non English Speaking mates might not get that. Surprisingly inflammatory commetns from such an obviously hippy liberal chap! Im shocked ;> (Must be pissed) Which means drunk here!

Arent Jewsih festivials based upon a lunar claendar? Therefore such festivals preceed each other by eleven days each year, as with the muslim calender? I am sure (maybe mistakenly) That Rosh Hashannah was at the same time as Ramadan a couple of years ago, thus being in December/January time....

But then again I may be wrong, maybe Spike Seigal can enlighten us?

I just re read ya post, what a dumbass I am!:P

And I do totally agree, we need to progress to an Asimovian Universe(As opposed to the Lucasian one you described) post haste, cos we are mashing up this planet. OOOOOO, see MY TWO PENNETH for opinions on Global Shite

Europeans do live together, seperate from Americans anyway. And you Americans seem to live in your own world. It wouldn't actually be any different to what it is now.

How do figure that we "live in our own world."?

I think its the exact opposite. Our country always seems to be involved with world wide problems and issues such as the war on terrorism. As of last time i checked the Europeans wont even support us in waging war against Saddam. You also claim "Europeans do live together, seperate from americans anyway". If we are so seperate why is europe constantly attempting to mimic our culture and "americanize" your lifestyles?
