I'm deciding between a func pad or a steelpad. I hear fUnc is better so I think I'll get that.
what r those cause im too lazy too search for them

the guy in the article has a very good point in that a few well trained people copuld go down a hall with sheilds with some others with M4's crouched behind them

it would be like a turtle creeping along that could suck in the important parts

now if that doesnt have a big effect on counter strike's balance then i dont know what would StealthMonkey

I'd like to see 4 people even walk in the same direction let alone do all that you say in CS. Very few people in reality are going to buy a shield+5-7 instead of an M4.

I think the point is being missed here that you still have to expose at minimum half of your body to be able to shoot around someone carrying a shield ahead of you. So... attacking them would be much like attacking someone who's hiding half behind a crate, when you've got an MP5. It's not like it makes them invulnerable or anything, just reduces the number of sprayed bullets that will hit, as does taking cover.

And unfortunately, I only see it being tactically significant in servers with a large number of people, which doesn't happen in clan matches. So, the cases where the organization is there, the numbers aren't, and the cases where the numbers are there, the organization usually isn't. I'm really not too worried about the shield.

Sure, I bet it'll spice up a few rounds here and there, but how many pubbers are going to buy something that aides their team when they could buy a bigger gun and go for more frags? It'd be more team focused than even pubbers buying defuse kits... and we know how few of us do that on any sort of regular basis.

I probably won't use sheild. I'm figuring it takes a second or two to move the sheild over. By that time, I could have nailed the guy's ass good.
