Yeh but if it said "Limey" it would still be as wrong as it is now.

I don't want a fixed copy, I just want a written apology to the Queen and Threeboys head on a stake outside Buckingham palace.

christmas is celebrated because the romans waited to see if somehitng (i cant remember) appeared again after the winter solstice which is on dec 21, the shortest day of the year, the slaves were allowed one day off which was on this day, and they used it to celebrate the lord

Boxing Day is celebrated in most former British colonies. Sorry for the error, but unless Threeboy sends over a fixed copy I'm not going to bother him. Pretend is says "Limey."
Hell, keep Canadian, it looks sexier.

Uhm, no one knows when Jesus (or if, depending on what you believe, no religious debates on CSN tonight thanks!) was born. cheetarah is mostly right, Christmas was originally a pagan holiday but the Romans made it their own Christian holiday to try to sway the people over to Christianity, and diminish any last reminisce of the pagan culture/religion throughout the empire.

Well it's pretty much fact that Jesus was born, but know one knows exactly when (since they didn't have years or probably modern months/days) or if he's really the son of blah blah blah

Technically Christmas and New Years day are both Christs birthday. Those crazy Christians.

Some say that the 3rd of September(or something) was actually Christs birthday but I don't believe in him anyway so there you go.

Surely around that time and what with Jesus and his folks being Jewish they would've used the Jewish Adam and Eve calender thing?

How is it fact? It would be difficult to prove that someone who actually existed at that time, actually did exist let alone some camp wannabe Hercules rip off who stories about him were only written hundreds of years after his supposed birth.

Well, if you researched it at all you'd know that it's fact. It's not like people who don't believe in god are clammoring to find out about Jesus and if he really existed or not.

A lot of people thought he was the son of god so they wrote it down. They wrote about him being born, etc. Long before the bible. We can prove he existed because there was a lot of hoopla in otherwise normal historical documents about his birth and some of his life.

I'm not religious at all but I do know what I'm talking about, because I saw it on the TV! The Discovery Channel had a great show on it that was probably on one of the BBC channels too since they're in cahoots.
