More LAN violence in Southern California, as a shootout happened over Counter-Strike on Monday night.

A teenager was shot in the leg Monday night after a fight erupted during a computer gaming tournament at a San Fernando Valley Internet cafe, police said.



The unidentified boy was hit when a gunman opened fire outside the NetStreet cafe in a Northridge strip mall shortly before 8 p.m.

Ok... thats scary. I live right next to NetStreet. A friend of a friend was there when it happened. Apparently, one guy got mad because this other guy was getting BS headshots on him. So he threw his chair at him. The other guy pulled out a gun, the first guy pulled out a crowbar, and got shot.



Honestly, what kind of a fucking retard brings a gun, or a crowbar, to an internet cafe? God I hate those gang faggots. "Oh yeah I'm tough, I'll shoot you because you said I cheat in CS".

As well as 90% (Probably less) of the people online that play Counter-Strike. Spamming Gee Gee or something like "GG Fucking AK" after every round is the gayest thing since leet speak.

People who play CS tend to be immature. Period.



Cafes are full of loud mouths and braggarts, and so is online.



Everyone plays for score at both a cafe and online to gloat about it.



Then they say you suck becauuse you have no kills, but the only reason you don't have kills is cause you actually rescued the hostages, and if you didn't, your team woulda lost because your outnumbered.



My worst experience was dust as terrorist, I finally talk the team into rushing a bombsite and not camping, we get there, all of us but 2. Those 2 are awp whores still covering the bridge at spawn, and one of them still had the f*cking bomb. So after furiously trying to cover the bombiste, we slowly get wiped out (we had it for long enough that we could have blown it up tho), and the two awp whores also get killed, after getting alot of kills.



And so, the awp whores have better scores then everyone else from spawn camping but we never win a round cause our most "skilled" players were too chicken to rush.



Only clans seem play as a team with an objective to win, but only in matches. Again on pub servers, clan stack and 'pratice' by only playing for score.



But hey, it's a great fucking game anyway And when you have voice comm on a server with everyone else using it, it seems to up teamplay by 150%
