I've read through that log, and I don't see how you think that Vatsmia is acting like an adult. Through the log he refuses to hear the other side to the story. How is this acting like an adult? I thought you were supposed to handle the situation rationally? Rooster is merely trying to get his problem heard and possibly dealt with in a proper manner. To each his own I suppose, not everyone can grow up and not be a toys r us kid anymore.Comment

I also read over the log. I do believe that Rooster is being screwed. Might be that he could have handled it better or been more composed but in the end he is getting screwed. He was banned for no reason, as it seems to me, and those who would have exonerated him chose not to, and for no apparent reason.Comment

There's a couple of things going on here. First of, Rooster did not approach the situation in an adult manner. Yes, it was good to try to talk to the owner about the situation. However, when you're trying to get something resolved, you have to come across as a mature individual. This means:- » Be respectful at all times, even of the person you have a problem with.
» Use correct spelling and grammar even on chat. This makes a world of difference in how you are viewed.

At this point, the smart thing to do would be to report the approximate time you were playing on the server, and ask the owner to review the chat logs to determine whether what you said was indeed true or not. The owner doesn't know you from the next guy, and you could be a complete ass for all he knows. He knows the guy you have a problem with, though, which puts you at a disadvantage. If you've got a legitimate complaint, however, the logs should speak for themselves.

However, you're screwed now, and there's obviously no way to change the damage you did to yourself with the extremely immature ranting you did at the end of the chat session. In the future, however, avoid calling admins names or correcting them, for that matter. Admin abuse happens, but if you want something to be done about it, you have to make sure that there's nothing they can pin you down as having done to provoke it.
As it is, well, I see immaturity on both sides of this issue, and not a whole lot of meaning in all of it. All boils down to boys fighting with each other in some sort of stupid power struggle, in my opinion.Comment

Since you obviously didn't get it, try clicking the "[ read full quote (759 more words) ]" button below the intro to your chatlog.
It's an automatic feature of CSN's comments design -- I simply took advantage of it, and fixed your post to look as it should have in the first place. Use the [ quote ] tags (without the inside spaces) when you're quoting stuff, instead of writing it on the fly.Comment

I really love how all you farking bastages just say it takes more skill to scout and leave it at that. Why is the awp inferior to the scout? The scout takes one more hit to kill. OOOOOHHHHHH that tough. Both guns have the same zoom ratio. However, the awp has a bigger recoil and you can't run as fast while equipped with the awp. So, how does the scout take more skill again? Oh, you have to hit someone TWICE wow.
Seriously, noone complains about the awp if someone on their team is using and owning with it. I also rarely see complaints about it until someone gets killed by it. Then the killed cries like a child about how the killer has no skill. Well guess what, you're dead and the awp'er is still alive despite your whining.
I'm sorry to get all antsy in my pantsy about this, but it's really frustrating to see nothing but comments about how the awp is cheap when I know most of you use it.Comment

There's a huge difference between hitting someone with one shot, and hitting them with two. When I snipe, I will stay out of sight. The idea is for people to not know where it's coming from. Maybe I do play on the wrong servers, but I have played on quite a few. From my experience, the poeple complaining about the awp are the ones killed by it. I really don't think that the scout takes any more skill than the AWP. You can displace easier for a reason: so you can hit the victim a second time. The awp's recoil is the price one pays for the 1 hit kill (if it hits above the waist). Most of what people say in many CS servers can simply be translated into its actual meaning.
"AWP wh0rze!" translates to: "I just got killed and I dont even know what hit me. Damn, there might be someone playing who is better than me and I should be more careful. Ahh, hell with it. Noone can be better than me. They must suck and it's the gun that gets them all their kills!"Comment
