gpig, your story isn't true. max value for mp_roundtime is 9 minutes, no matter what you set it to



as far as the mailbag, i realise it was written tongue-in-cheek and was supposed to be "humorous" but the several slams on adminmod were misleading to people who might be new to the community. Adminmod is a large part of what has kept the CS community growing for over 3 years.



as far as execclient, admins can abuse any command. if you get abused by an admin, don't play on that server. but the command can be used for good too. for example i used to use it to make everyone drop weapons when people wanted a knife round as the last round on the map (knife rounds once an hour are fun :) ). i've also used it to enable the console key for people that don't have it bound/enabled, or to fix client settings like stopsound or room_type 0. granted i guess i am an above average admin but i couldn't run my server without adminmod, and some people think it's the best CS server there is ... largely because of adminmod :)



p.s. yes i know a lot of people hate chickenmod. sorry :P

I should have suggested taking the individual scores off of the score board, I wish they'd do that so that people would actually rescue the hostages, or defuse the bomb, instead of running around for 30 seconds looking for the last person, only to get either shot in the back by them, or blown up by the afforementioned, non-defused bomb.

Gooseman made it so you couldn't see scores in one Beta I believe, and everyone complained, the damned morons. And so they changed it back



Again, the maturity of the Majority of the CS community is disturbing.
