This is going to have some nice impacts on esports; the Galil is going to be $2000. Given most maps are CT slanted, we can assume that most matches between evenly-skilled teams will have the terrorists losing the pistol round. Most teams these days save 2 rounds for money - this way they can afford an ak and armor and a nade or two. However, with the introduction of a gun $500 cheaper than the ak, I could see this affecting teams buying habits, perhaps causing only 1 save round after a pistol round loss, which could in turn swing the result of a match. The gun uses the same ammo as the m4, but fires like an ak and is described to be more accurate than an ak - a best of both worlds for cheaper? I could see teams using this to come back and recover off rocky starts. It'll be interesting to see if these new weapons influence matches, instead of taking backseats like mac-10's and ump's.

I have another question; you recieve $300 for each frag, so when you defuse a bomb/blow it up do you get $900 plus bonuses for winning the round?

can you shoot threw a riot shield that your team mate is using... like threw the little slot so that you hide right behind him and you shoot, say with a scout or awp?

smarter hosties (although they are alot better now) they whould ebable to use ladders go through water, and duck as soon as they have been hit once.



radar. fix tthe way it disapears some times.. make it nice and easy to use (and then maybe people will start useing it)



laddars (get rid of the bloody sound on them.. it should be like any other sound.. if you got shift down there should be NONE!!



I like the wide screen idea. alot! i have always wanted to be able to "buy" weapon upgrades and such. this is prolly as damn close as that will ever get.



I also like the idea of xtra frags for bombing or diffuseing.. It will give the Ts an incentive to stay and make sure the bomb goes off cuz you get 3:1 k:d even if you die.



I would like the splash image to be high res friendly though.. although minor.. a big thing to me.

it says its fixed the flash bang bug for what? hlds or hltv? i can remember.. it better be fixed for the client so if i flash a guy he wont be shooting me no problem

this is right on par with valve adding things that piss off the clan community. this is such an amazing gift to the T's it's not even funny. all it does is add headaches to the teams in matches... can you picture clans calling out when they kill an enemy "2 DOWN!" like its a freaking baseball game or something?

Really it's just there way of trying to make it as realistic as possible, because I think it's funny thinking that in real life SWAT teams press tab and look who's dead.



And f#ck can they plz reduce AWP damage, it's ruining the game all i see these days is everyone buys an AWP on the winning side and takes everyone out from long distance whats happened to the skill factor.!!!

i have a coupla questions about the riot shield.



can anyone shoot through the viewing window of the shield??



how can u use the secondary tools for usp and glock if ur using a shield?



if u are running with it, and lets say it is being held with ur left hand dangling down while running, does that mean ur left side is covered?

(and if it is can this apply to your right side in any way)



just a few questions many others are probably pondering about right now.. ppl say the shields are gona suck, i dont think so. Think of 3 men in front just shielding a few guys in the back with rifles. puts group work into a lot of action.



damn another question, for the people using weapon/player etc skins, how will this new patch affect their files? do they need to reinstall?

the only one i know the answer to. in the beta (through steam) you cannot use custom skins, however once the final version is out you can use all the customs your heart desires ... until 1.7 =P
