I cant wait for the BETA to come out so I can start complaining about the scoreboard not showing deaths anymore. Like lockhart suggested, if they leave this and don't give the option it has to be one of the stupidist ideas that they've had.

With respect to the not being able to see who is dead or alive...Initial thoughts say "Fudge you Valve"...But if you think about it,you will get used to it...eventually.And if you don't well then you'll lose.



As for the guy who said "That Shield thing will never get used".The hell it won't!Think about the second round of a clan match just after you loose as cts...$1000 is a pretty cheap alternative when your rifle option is over $3000 (Although the FAMAS is supposedly $2250) and you spawn with a USP.

lmao, sort of. I grew up with Ryan and he and 3 other guys started it in 1996. Now it's HUGE (CNET owns them now) and I just give input on things. I should start "Actually" working there in a couple of months. I have been in that damn CNET building enough that I have my own guest pass :)



edit: Might have been 1995, I was away at College when they started it.

i have a feeling that that is the engine and there is nothing they can do about that. it works like this: when two bodies get into the same place the engine doesnt know what to do and allows one of them to go threw something they shouldnt cause it doesnt know what else to do.

Well yeah i have to admit it does seem sorta dumb now that they have it so u cant see whos dead or alive anymore but it all adds to the realizm and the excitement! Who knows maybe it will be alot better after all we are just used to 1.5!

I have a question, as I'm quite a newbie to CS. When you install new betas, does installing these betas write over your configs and replace your custom skins with the packaged skins and such?
