de_comrade sucks, it has absolutly no reflection on the map itself, tell me one map which name doesnt reflect on the theme of the map. Just a general name for vriend in russian, comrade, psawh. DE_WASTE or DE_FORSAKEN would have been much better!

umm we should STOP complaining about the map!!! N@rby had to choose out of 2000+ subbmissions if NOT MORE! its not easy doing that and WORKING ON THE map too... and hes working hard on this map so give him sum credit plz... i personally can't wait til it comes out i luv hes last ones ... de_clan2_fire is my fav, i luv it, but nobody plays it.. u guys should download it...!!

And I think that comrade really doesn't fit the essence of the map...although rust was submitted quite often, it sounded like a good one. I also liked de_MAD and de_sentinel, as they were very fitting. The people who chose names like de_armory obviously didn't read about the map setting =p

maybe de_failure is even better than forsaken, but really any name for this map is better than de_comrade, BARNEY you have learned now that giving things back to the community sucks... if goose did that CS would even big a bigger failure than it is now cause of the inevitable cheating, CSTRIKE is famous for it's realism, graphics in comparisson to the age of the HL-engine and of course the atmosphere created, de_comrade just breaks it all up. The futuristic names implemented in CSTRIKE better be a joke (although everywhere posted it is not) or the community will slip through GOOSE's fingers, what is already happening at this moment... their only shot at reviving CSTRIKE is CS:CZ, let's hope that is will not be a complete failure or CSTRIKE will die within a year...

Bah! My submission was the best! de_avangard; Avangard was the name of Russia's first nuclear weapons manufacturing facility. Not only is the name cool as all hell, it actually fits perfectly with the background story. Where better to find decomissioned nuclear weapons than in an old nuclear weapons manufacturing facility?



The submission thing needed a short comments field so guys like me who actually researched a good name would have room to explain it.
