I already Uploaded PLATFORM.dll to version 2.



Steam for me doesnt work half the time, my 1.6 beta freezes all the time, but hey, i got to play it for about 2 minutes, got to use and kil someone with a galil. Therefor im happy. BETA is the word here, its going to be buggy, but hey, better than waiting another 9 months to get the final version. The new VGUI rocks! Theres lots of new features that are awesome, and im just happy i can login to steam without a problem.



You have to give all the guys over there a hand just for being able to put something like this out, and being able to maintain it through an overload of people. Lay off VALVe, their doing thier best.

ok I got it.. but what the hell. tons of bugs, changing resolution may cause a crash and stuff like that.

works hell slow and my comp is working super fine with cs 1.5

all that Steam technology sucks so bad.

they shouldnt've messed it.

if its the Beta test of cs, will the full version of cs 1.6 will include Steam also?

hm..... my steam sux 2..but now there are so much debate about that the versiion i gott is a leaked version...so im just pasioned..an waiting 4 the "real version" but i can still play 1.6b online ;D

I just don't know...The first time (a year or two ago) I tried Steam it was extreamly slow n' such, but that's because I'm on a 56k. N' screw you if you wanna complain "stop being a cheap ass and get DSL or a cable modem" because I dont make enough and they should make things compatible with us lower people. Or I should give up gameing until I win the lotto...Hm...



(btw i know this Steam is gonna be better for 56k but...how good can you get...really?)

I officially don't know anything about CS1.6b, or Steam 2.0 and such.



However, in my imagination or something Steam worked just fine for me. The download went fine (had to restart a few times in there, but it worked) even though it took a while, on a 56k. Just like I said it would.
