Okay, I installed steam this morning, I tried it a few times but I didn't even get to the sign up screen, but now I have signed up and my CS download has just fiinished... Go steam!

wow I guess this is one of the biggest topics ever on csnation. There's been probably more posts on all 1.6 beta testing threads than on like all last year combined or something

See.........this is what media does. The new weapons was the only thing that made this Beta to big. To be completely honestly, this Beta is not much different from other updates except new console and weapons. Weapons look like crap to me anyways...Shield owns hehehe

i wish it was'nt hyped as much, then all the 1.4 testers would just do the 1.6 ones, with a few more added in that found out about it, if it was'nt advertised the way it was we would'nt have this problem, but if the problem was still there when steam is fully released it would be chaos, all of the cs community trying to get cs as fast as they can, the servers would be a standstill for days.

One of my main reasons for testin 1.6... I hated 1.4... and i hate 1.5.... I liked 1.3 alot.. ...

I hope they fixed alot of things not nessicarily put back to the way 1.3 worked but just "fixed" some of the things with the last few versions.. :/

if you downloaded steam to try out 1.6 --- GO BACK TO 1.5 YOU RETARDS...



I downloaded to BETA test 1.6 --- and so far have only found a few minor bugs...



need to play against other people to get the full test going.



and I seem to be the only one trying to find a way to play with others.



This is ment as a BETA test -- FIND ERRORS and report them



IT IS NOT ment as OH LOOK! CS1.6 is out -- lets get that!.



Beta testing only please. (as the non-testers are probably what fucked over valves server)

steampowered.com had links up for a short time, only one worked, which was the cscentral link, that is the one i got, so i technically got a mistaken legit version of the beta
