Azzor tell me how to back up my cashe on steam??!??!

When you downloaded CS 1.6 off there server a folder in SteamCache was made called Counter-Strike. You should have copied that folder to your desktop. Then when your ticket runs out and it starts downloading again you cancel and put your backup in place and carry on playing. Get it?

I think its alittle to late by the sounds of it, the version you probably copied just is corrupt, hence another 200 minutes in a que :/

Let's make one thing clear, Valve is not stupid. No doubt they knew that steam2 would cause problems for their servers. My guess is they did it intentionally. They need to stress their bandwidth and Steam1 was slowing to a crawl. At any rate, once they get the kinks worked out, this is a great idea, instant messaging friends in game, small updates after the initial install, better anti-cheat protection, better content....give it time guys, good things come with a little patience.

they should make it so that if you have got the files you would be able to load it and play offline so you can at lest TRY THE DAM THING !!!

but no . i recan if you where to do a DNA test on the Valve team you would discover the missing links i tell ya they so dum they make pressadent bush look like a super brain!!!!!!

oh yah and im downloading CS 1.6 now off of steam, and its going pretty damn fast.

About an hour and 10. Its only 42 Mb.
