famas is just a crappy version of the M4 and the galil is like a beefed up AK

Well it is only a BETA and as such you should post your findings on the beta web site. If enough peple feel this way and say so then u can be sure that this will be amended.



With the riot shield it changes the game quite a lot I think. All good though! Roll on CS:CZ

Just to let you know, use pageup and pagedown in 1.5 console to scroll up and down, but it resets to the bottom when something happens in game.

well thats the thing. i like it how the terrorist have a stupidly overpowered weapon now like the counter terrorist. now the teams are even.

Are you on drugs man, the terrorists have always had more powerful weapons. The Ak is friggin' nuts if you know how to use it, the last thing CT's need to go up against is something more powerful and accurate than the AK. The CT's get stuck with the Famas, which in my opinion should be way more powerful than it is and the burst mode needs to be a little quicker. So if anything the CT's are outgunned the majority of the time.

the cs folder is in steam folder....i think it goes like this: c:\program\steam\cache\cs or sumthing

but i dont know why you get that error....keep trying

Thanks....my situation is like this:



It updated platform.dll and then it says determining published version number and if everything goes smoothly steam dissapears and i get an error with: Could not connect to the steam network. Either your steam is not unning or your connection is down. Please try again later...

I never get a chance to create an account

i installed podbot in this directory .... still doesnt work ..when you run the game and bind "=" podbotmenu..... when you press = the console says unknown command podbotmenu....HELP!!!

when i start steam it says steam version: 0 game version: 1 is that normal? Where did ya guys get steam?

PODBOT at present does not work by the looks of things.



IN regards to setting up an account as soon as you go into Steam it prompts you to either logon or create an account. Enter email address, user name, and password and then it logs you in if all the fields have been filled in.



Once you login it open a window where you should have CounterStrike, Halflife, Dedicated server etc etc. Right han mouse click on Counterstrike and then you have the option to create a game or start cs.

No date yet. Shouldn't be too long! =) Although If they read some of the comments on this thread then I would not be surprised if they made everyone wait now!



153 mins!!! What connection you on? If 56K modem then you should not be using STEAM which happens to be a broadband driven product.
