I have also noticed Steam seems to be working today. Login seems quick with no errors. Twice I was able to connect with a server and play. However I am again getting the "Game is currently unavailable" message. But when I check the CS game properties it is listed as "Updating..." So perhaps this error occurs until an update is finished being pushed. What worries me is the slowness of the update, as I see extremely faint modem activity happening, with long periods of no activity at all.

The objective to get 1.6 is to keep trying wait a hour at most but keep trying im downloading it now and i have [/b 1 MINUTE!!] Goodbye peoples....

when steam says game is currently unavailable what the hell do i do. It says this only when its a server that is not full



The servers that have room keep giving me this unavailable message. One more thing. Do i ever download 1.6 or does steam do that when i connect to a server.
