AVG is also a great free anti-virus program. It works just as good as NortonComment

My favorite anti-virus is PC-cillin by trend. I might be biased because it came with my motherboard for free though :) i just un-installed norton AV 2002 and installed PC-cillin a few days ago it found 2 viruses right away that norton couldn't find, even with their lame bloodhound option on the highest setting. Also , really like the built in firewall, i know its not the best one out there but i like having it all built into one program.Comment

use crazybrowser, its just a modifed internet explorer that supports tabbed browsing, groups, and has a GREAT included anti-pop-up method. I see maybe a pop-up a day using crazy browser compared to the 100+ i would see without it.

updates arent free? you have to pay for them (update ur subscription), and also.. this is free advertising for them, no one had heard of this virus (and apparenly it didnt infect alot of systems) so how did norton know? and how did they prompt people that the only way to ave a check is to buy their uber crappy anti virus. and not inform people the wonders of grisoft.... which make AVG which actually is alot better than norton!
and tbh a web anti virus scanner.... i cant say that really exists! its just bullshit.Comment
