YES when i first started playing when i first downloaded cs1.6 i couldn't connect to airstrip, then i went to a single player airstrip and it worked, after that i was able to go to multiplayer airstrip. Maybe if you do airstip singleplayer then the multiplayer will work too, like it downloads something it neededComment

I have seen that problem reported before yes. Also, I have read that only the first few new accounts got auth IDs. So some accounts simply cant authorize with steam when attempting to join a server. So, one thing that might help some of you is to use your old steam 1.0 beta logins. I dont have one of those.. so I am shit outta luck.

anybody notice how the little thingy when you first start steam if its updating (which has game version and steam version at the top) how the "steam version" is slightly lower than "game version" poor job of aligning your text valve?
yeah i just used my steam1.0 login from the beginning, never bothered trying to get a new one, and its worked fine for me throughoutComment

OMFG UPDATING IS DONE. AFTER, you need to re-login. I started CS. Refresh server, take a server, double-click and WEEEEEE ITS WORKING ON THE FIRST TIME OMG HAHAHA. IM IN A GAME HAHAHA IM IN A GAME!!!! MOUWAAAA ITS ALIIIVVEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!Comment

Yah, rizzuh r0xors. He didn't let csnation degenerate like all the other games sites and host the file. He is l337.
Anyway, for everyone whining and panting for Steam/CS1.6b, i've downloaded, played it and would say, don't bother. It has many bugs, and isn't worth the trouble. I've reported them all, but not sure if anyone is listening. I think the whole CS community has also reported them all...
Steam is blatantly in-need of re-evaluation. It takes too long to load, and the traffic it generates may make it highly unideal for it's intended purpose.Comment
