Wasn't the point of Steam so Valve would not need a publisher in the first place? Valve isn't owned by Sierra or Vivendi is it?

Nope, and Im not even sure Sierra has any control over HL/CS/TFC as valve are a pretty smart and well funded little outfit. Not a underfunded, need the cash so we sell our IP to whoever offers the most cash, company.

Would need a statement from a valve person to be sure tho.

If Microsoft does buy Vivendi, you can expect HL2 and CS2 to be XBOX exclusive. I would cry.

Well, at least now you can expect CS:CZ to have excellent memory resource hogging,

I'd think Valve being the developers would be able to decide who to have publish HL2/TF2/CS2, assuming they don't skip publishers completely. There's practically no chance that HL2/TF2/CS2 would not be available for PC...

Lets put it this way. CS:CZ is a girl. It keeps getting makeovers and new styles. Girls don't stick with one style for long periods of time. So basically, CS:CZ Is going to keep changing its "styles"

microsoft isn't that bad with games i mean they found a good designer for Motocross Madness 2 which i still play :) but i don't think i can take another delay/plottwist of CZ they should just not talk about like TF2 club , the first rule of TF 2 club is you don't release any info on if we are or arn't working on it

If MS owned vivendi, cs would probably not crash, have fewer glitches, and b a much more reliable sofware. On the bad side (the 1 we live in) Cs would cost 50$ instaead of 30$. We might also have to pay Doh 4 updates. MS = good/reliablitly/cheap money hog?
