mailbag: excuses

My god. That was one of the worst mailbags ever. The subject was a great idea, and the replies from asspennies were funny, but the submissions, that's why the gene pool needs to be cleansed. It was full of "txt speech", replacing letters etc.



I'd be willing to bet that 90% at least, of those excuses were submitted by people 14 or under who consider themselves "cool", and everyone else "geeks", and "nerds".



Oh, and i'd say subliminal55 is probably banned, lol.

its easy to smoke while playing. just do what i do and use a cigarette holder, that way you dont get smoke in your eyes, and if using roll ups they dont stick to your lip. job done

"this server is laggy - an the people here obviously cheat" ~ this is probibly one of the stupidest - and the most IGNERANT response you'll hear from someone - i just say "BS" as everyone else - but to those who say the server lags or the people here cheat .... Get the F#$* out .... Counter Strike is becoming more an more popular - an that means theres mored an more server - to date theres damn near 30,000 counter-strike server - you arent being held in that server against your will - if you dont like the game play there - leave an stop the complaining !

I don't make excuses often unless they are legit. Among those are usually:



- My mouse is fucked. (It really is... the cable is loose inside the mouse itself and it's a USB. If I move it to a certain point, the cable shifts and the mouse 'dies' until I twist the wire the right way.) I know it's working again when I hear Windows detecting it. Annoying as hell but I love this mouse; It's a 1st gen MS Intellimouse Explorer. I have the new wireless one but OMG the side buttons are small...



- Too much crap on my desk. I'll go wild trying to aim in a corner and bump something, sending it crashing to the floor. While it's in mid-air and I'm going "OH SHIT!!" I usually get killed.



Other than that, my excuses are usually along the OMG/WTF/BS variety. Just general exasperation. Or the self-nade/cratering deaths.. "I meant to do that so you coulnd't get the frag on me. Yeah, that's the ticket.."
