Pong in 1760? And fans running at 2000 RPMs? My case fan is running at a stable 5676 RPM's right now and not making enough noise to be noticed. :P Other than that, a good article.
Deadbeat wrote..I agree with this, we are probably the first groups of people, although I'm 17, to be into online gaming this much. Many of us will continue this hobby as we grow older, and it will be interesting to see how things develop. I imagine us as 50+ year olds still playing the latest games, getting the most riced machines, and having a damn good time despite our poor reflexes, at least the lazer corrective allows us to see the games!
...who have grown up with tons of video games for their entire lives, grow up.

I guess I must have missed the whole point of the article. Describing liking a game more than other things in life... then applying this to loyalty... then things you do to keep on playing... Yeah, I just didn't get where it was going, or went, or whatever.
Sure, CS is addictive, and it's built a tremendous user community over the past few years. I just don't really understand what this has to do with loyalty. Sure, I love CS, but if something else equally addictive and even more fun came along, well, I'd leave CS behind.
Oh well, I may not get the whole point of the article, but I guess some of you did. So... um, yeah, glad you guys enjoyed it.
