lol i reinstalled cs alot too i thought it was my comp too i wasnt really sure until i read this post YAY that takes alot off....or something...?

It isn't entirely VALVe's fault. They definetly should have notified us as to the DNS change, but if you really wanna blame someone, blame your ISPs for not updating their DNS database sooner. :)
For those that think that the servers are overloaded or crashed or have been taken down for some reason, this isn't the case at all. VALVe just changed the DNS addresses of the servers and our ISPs haven't yet recieved the updated DNS addresses.Comment

So what is going on? Ouir clan server is down now and wont restart, is this because the IP address has changed for it and I cant find it that way? Any clue as to when this shit will be fixed?Comment

mmmh well seems with the "patch" or "fix", "update" call it whatever you like, it works fine... but I cant seem to find a special word from valve ? won ? steam ? whatever ... about it going down and ip upgrades.. etc.
anyways it works with the new ips from the fixed file and thats it :) enjoy hehComment
