It really is poor that to play online, u have to continually update this file. What about those who dont keep up to date with online sites and dont know how to fix it as such? WON is getting ridiculous now.....

well i downloaded that file that antinous said and it works, so once again the file is http://is.recongamer.com/woncomm.zip (extract to Valve folder)

Well Valve would be pretty daft to use their won authentication servers as content providers... The passage you have written means that the beta is closed and therefore no new applicants can be added (tho seemingly they can tho the 4 meg installer is more difficult to find)



I am sure that things will be resolved soon...



Lots of DayOfDefeat stuff on the forums last night... so perhaps some major Steam update is in the works... shouldn't affect other things tho..
