The servers arent really down, just changed over.

I would imagine u have to re-install the BETA, because it copies your half-life folder

The fix updates your woncomm.lst file which basically means it updates the server information for half-life. This enables you to authenticate and connect to any online server. It appears that the WON servers were changed without notifying us. I know for a fact that the fix works for 1.5, I think you might have to reinstall 1.6 to get it working, as long as u install the fix to 1.5 first. I believe that 1.6 BETA uses the half-life folder and makes a copy of it.
