FLeK0 noticed that Vivendi has posted a Q3 2003 release date for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. The date was given in recent press release about their upcoming Universal Games Faire in Germany. Of course nobody actually knows when VALVe will call CS:CZ ready to ship, but it is interesting that Vivendi is publicly going with the third quarter of the year.
CZ in Q3?

I imagine Vivendi are starting to get a little impatient with the delays, which is understandable - they'll probably make the most money out of CZ.
(As for TF2, well, whether it's been in development for 4 days, years or decades I don't care, just as long as it's good and fun - isn't that what we all want?! [don't answer that])Comment

Like I said in the models thread yesterday, this is taking far too long. Doom 3 gets announced last year, and it will be ready to play by the end of this year. Ritual and Gearbox are/have been working on a game with a 5 year old engine (not even counting the time before HL when it was the quake engine) and we still get delays. It's pretty obvious to me that the game is going down the pan yet again, and I'm off to cancel my pre order yet again :/
Valve/Vivendi/Ritual/Whoever......get a grip or ship out tbh.....Comment
