When you press printscreen it copies the image to your clipboard and you can paste it from there.

Yea.. uh guys. Its called ACDC 4.01.. try it, its quite nice, right click in windows explorer to get a thumbnail, convert pictures, resize, etc. Very beautiful program.. I used my special education to find an easy way to "register" it which I wont go into because thats illegal here, but its quite possibly hte best picture managing program out. This program is nice but tbh, ACDC > x (x being everything in the known universe that is used to manage pictures )

Best thing about this too is that you can select the image quality also, have been using this for years and it definitely is the best.

for anyone who cares....the reason .tga files are created is because your hl resolution is higher than your desktop resolution....if it matches or is below then it will revert back to .bmp

To covert to AVI i'm pretty sure you have to use BMPs. At any rate it's for the best, that way you get 100% perfect quality frames which you can apply compression to later.
No, you dont, but yes it is the best way to get 100% quality, then go down from there with compression (I DivX @ 100% quality, then use Windows Media Encoder to compress it uber small with pretty good quality)

Open your eyes people... Screema has been doing this AUTOMAGICALLY for over a year now. you can set the interval for anywhere from one minute to 60 minutes. Not sure why we need another program that is less effective.

ok, lets put it this way, is there a way that this programme could be bolted on to the geekboy demo movie feature to thus create the movie inspae saving jpgs inthe first place then? so instead of startmovie producing around 4gb of bmps for 2mins of film, it would produce much less in jpg? or do i have to go throught he rigmarole of doing it in bmp first then converting it, ?

I AM LAZY; but hopefully an inspiration to those of you who have the abilities to solve these problems
No because that would be VERY compute-intensive without a hardware card (I think). That much data will strain even todays stuff.

I can force the fps to 60, the visul limit, finew, Howe4ver In conversion I would be happy with 35-45 fps, thus cutting the file sizes right down,
Regular NTSC refresh is only 60htz interlaced. Set the framerate to 29.97 (NTSC).

Too complicated =\ I like the function, it's great but the interface is a little daunting for casual users.

I am hosting it on my new site, no prob. Thing is we tend to add / correct bugs as soon as we hear about them and update that version (the one on the site). Anyway, yeah go ahead and mirror it plz! =) I'll mail you when I update!

Am I the only one whose Half Life saves screenshots as TGA files? Apparently so.
We're planning to add tga support. Yes, very early versions of HL saved in Targa, all the Quake series saves in targa format.
