OGRE Screenshot Converter

Fraggy and the_blur have released the OGRE Screenshot Converter, a utility designed to make CS screenshot-taking a bit easier. The program takes the sizeable .bmp images that are Half-Life screenshots and automatically converts them into space-saving .jpg files. Nothing too fancy, but its small (150k) and handier than using a bigger program. Download the program from their site here. This is perfect for submitting POTDs!

Perhaps it was just me, but I assume "Delete Source Pictures" means it will delete the bitmap screen shots. Well anyway, it didn't do that even though I had that option checked. :\

There was a program that did the same thing as this, I had it on my computer before I formatted it and gave it to my brother. It was something along the lines of "BMP2JPEG" and all it was was a batch file with a few parameters that converted all the BMPs in a folder to JPEGs.

There are a million programs that do it. Paint in XP does it, Photoshop does it, and 999,998 other programs.

Yes, but most of those don't do batch. Photoshop, imageready and a slueth of others do though.

If I had a million programs, I'd do two batches at once.

You can make two batches of cookies with one over, just put one on the top shelf and another on the bottom. I guess if you have only one shelf you could use really small trays, and put one on one half and the other on the other! Problem solved!
