Couldnt of said it any better myself. Nailed it. Tho it seems weird, game gore is nothing like realisitic gore, which can make me sick, while on the other hand "virtural" gore is funny.

Yep. And you can still go back and play em too. Again. So could I but instead, I'd rather play Counter-Strike. I also like the regular updates these days. Keeps it fresh and keeps me interested. If all we still had was 1.6, I'd have probably left a while back.

Sorry but for a company that has sold how many copies of half-life 2, at around £35 per game. err hoe much money is that to be made? And they still cant release code that helps with the laggy hitboxes. How comes in 1.6 when you aimed at someone and clcik fire you would actually hit them, but appears in the new code they cannot make it like that so you cant hit people with actually aiming at them. Sorry but I think this is totally inadequate on valves part, theyve fleeced us for the money but they cant get the game code right. Its amazing how makers of newer games such as Far cry Battlefield etc, seem to be able to write games they do have bulliet reg. I Personally think theyve ruined the game of cs, give me the 1.5 days but with better graphics thats what source should have been.
For example why are there so many artifacts on the maps in source. YOU DONT NEED THESE IN A MULTIPLAYER GAMES IT LAGS THE GAME OUT. Surely we want fast accurate game play not laggy artifacts which add nothing to the game. Yes they are fine in a single player game of HL2 but CS Source is multiplayer VALVE!!!! My computer runs Source fine with all the artifacts in it. They add ambiance to the maps. I'm not exactly running a mega powerhouse system either. Just using a AMD 2600 and a ATI 9100 video card. Hitboxes don't seem to be any worse than they were in 1.6 either. I aim at someones head, they die just like they did in 1.6.
Lucky for all the ones who hate Source and won't upgrade their systems or internet connections, 1.6 is still available for play.
Watch that door on your way out.Comment
