yeh steam 6 is better than the 5 version, i reported the bugs on Steam forums, rather than here! in a response to the erik new on this item!!! I was sad to see that noone else had reported anything there! Surely that is the appropriate place.



Yes, it has been a dull 3 months without j0o Garry. But I for one had hoped you had grown and matured over that time, oh well, miracles do happen :P



As for steam, I am having problems with Friends too Nighthawk, Still even with dll 6!

Your games are always full, and the autretry feature seems to be a little buggy, or noone leaves your games!

Im not sure how often Steam pings, or whatever it does to the server! But i never see any screen flicker, Id like to see out side scores, somewhat like halflife irc tool, (FANTASTIC PROGRAMME!) Those of you still playing 1.5 gogo

I was just saying... We really only give credit for news items that are fairly unique and not really publically known. It's no-one's fault, was just saying is all.

I can't browse servers. Sometimes I get about 100 servers, but most of the time it just says "can't contact master servers" or something alike.



I don't know how it was before this update (I wasn't home), but their fix isn't working for me. And I don't have any kind of custom content.

I'm also on a nearly fresh winXP install, so I don't think it's me.



Anyone else still having troubles?

Also: Bleh.

The fix was just to prevent the game from crashing... For the servers, just keep refreshing the list until you get some showing up, that's all that you can really do at the moment.
