Steam Update Platform.dll 8

Steam, the wave of the future, has updated once again. This time it offers a fancy new platform.dll number and a fix to a bug. Apparently the update fixes a locking up bug that occurs. Personally I don't play 1.6, so I can't say much about this. To update, just run Steam and cross your fingers (and your eyes). Thanks to the four people who submitted this.[break="erik johnson's statement"]We've released both a new version of the desktop components of Steam, as well as new versions of all games currently running via Steam.



The most significant change in this release is the fix for the in-game freezeups people are seeing.



You can view the changes in this release by right clicking on the game in your Games list and clicking on "Update History".

now every time i try and play counterstrike it goes like its gonna start it up... "Preparing to play counterstrike" then it asks to refresh login. I enter my pword and it dont do nothin! just goes back to the same screen again.

can someone post to me the actual log for this update? my Steam is screwy when it comes to viewing the changelogs, it doesnt scroll down...

So i get home from school today to play some cs and right when i try and go into my favorite server it says "You have been banned from all secured servers till the 11th"



Now i know all of you are gonna say "THATS CAUSE YOU CHEAT ASSHOLE"....but i really dont, there is something really wrong here.



I can go into some servers that i know are secured...but not others...WTF ;(

For future reference, when you go to the Counter-Strike update history, all Steam is doing is displaying the following webpage within its browser:

Well, it's not a bug. But, for God sake, plz change the color of the radar. In some places, I can't see it properly. -_- Am I the only one who has this problem on the earth?
