No, we all have the problem. It's simply the fact that the radar is a little too transparent, and so bright colors wash it out.



Anyway, I can't get CS to start. Each time it just repeats that my ticket has expired, and wants me to log on yet again. Kind of ironic... Steam worked really well for me (even friends worked at times) around v2, and now here we are at v8 and nothing works. :) Ah well... I guess they get to have fun fixing everything they broke with this release, heh. It'd be nice to get back to beta testing soon, though.

the lag is because it's downloading as you're playing... if you leave it running in the background when you're not playing it will get all the downloading out of the way...

lol, im sorry, what did you say? this version FIXES LOCK UP BUGS. Since steam came out my steam only locked up 3 times, now i cant even use steam with this update coz it locks up EVERY TIME.

i would have to say that steam has pissed me off more than anything in my life. of course that isn't saying much :P all that steam does is take up space, be it very little space, on my harddrive. after about the 10th time of getting disconnected and then having to dl the stupid counter-strike patch, i decided to quit and go back to 1.5, where at least i could have SOME fun. i think it is time for a NEW and BETTER program made for 1.6 (if it ever comes out) and steam should be tossed into the trash along with ever other failed thing that steam does.

It seems that Steam, making sure all the versions of cs are the same, would be incompatible with custom models, sounds, and even buy scripts. That would mean I couldn't use my uber 1337 Osama bin Ladin terrorist model (very intimidating, too bad other ppl can't see it).
