A contorller can never compare to keyboard/mouse. At least for most if not all FPS's.

I'll probably get CSX or whatever if it is released, but I doubt it will compare to the addictive lameness that is CS.

Blankster, what operating system are you running at the moment? And I know it isn't linux.



I don't defend Microsoft (I smile when I see Microsoft-Works listed as an oxymoron for the 700th time) but I'm not one who tries to throw rocks at a big corporation just because it has made some smart decisions and a whole lot of money.



PS2 owners who lay on the bullshit about them buying games and trying to dominate the market should compare them to Sony.



Sony is an electronics giant. Sony is like a God send from the Export God to Japan. They moved in, tried some things, got followers, and now they're top dog.



They helped kill off a (self inflicted) wounded Sega and seriously fucked up Nintendo. What has Microsoft done? Put out a good system, try a new marketplace, buy some games that were going to PS2. So fucking what.



I have played CS for about two and a half years now, I'm not great but I'm not a newbie. I have watched CS expand quite a bit over the last year and a half (first year was much slower). It has many more players than any other online game now and is still getting more popular. So why not add a whole new load of people to play it? We'll never have to face them unless we get a copy of it ourselves so who gives a shit?



So, in closing, console wars are always going on in the market, we don't have to fight them here, as well.

They are USB ports with little adapter things making them bigger, so you can't plug normal stuff in them, and an extra yellow wire (for the rumble pack, i think). You can cut off end and replace it with normal USB to use it on comp, in fact someone is writing a program getting Windows to recognise it. Umm, damn, where's that website. I'll get back to you when I find it.

I totally agree, not just with that sentance, but the whole article. Sony can pretty much force people to make games for them, so they have lots of games. Thing 'bout that is tho, I know people who own PS/2's, and they talk about the good games. There are hundreds of games that can be played on the console, but hundreds of BAD games, also. Something people tend to forget is, "This console has all these good games", well, it has more BAD games then good, usually. (BTW, last comment was in general, not about and specific console.)
