I think that might've been taken slightly out of context, riz. And the only thing I noticed about your "teamplay" voice comm was that you said "shut up" every five seconds and "fag" every two!



But seriously, I was trying to do well. It's not like I was basecamping or something. I was actually trying to play the game like Mr Bond wrote in his "teamplay" article. I'm sorry if having a faulty mic makes me a bad person. It didn't help that you guys were all talking at the same time, either.

If you recall any of the m0rph comments or the ones attached to the Games Fusion line of posts, you'd know that your visitors enjoy pr0n. I think that sums up the demographic rather nicely.

I'm sticking with my Dreamcast, thanks. None of the new consoles really do a lot for me.

The only thing consoles have over PC is racing games, fighting games, sporting games, and party gaming (or whatever the term is for 4 controllers and a 6 hour session of golden eye).



I'm only into racing games as far as consoles go, so it's not worth shelling out 150 or whatever to play GT3. The PC is superior everywhere else. My last console was the PSX which provided many years of solid entertainment when all the PC was good for was quake and warcraft. If I was going to buy a console today it would be an x-box, the PS2 graphics are fugly, and I'm not 12 so the gamecube is also out of the run.



But I'm not a console gamer, and deformed freaks with spiked colored hair and eyes as big as baseballs with "gunswords" aren't my thing, so I guess my opinion on consoles is void.

I disagree, MikeJ. I believe that consoles are better than PCs in everything but games involving typing (Typing of the Dead), real-time strategy (Age of Empires) and FPS (um, how about Quake?)

Puffy's reviews are great, but I always liked Hitman and galen "I have a cold. Download if it twaddles your tweedle" too.



Speaking of puffy, could we rank the SOTDs by staff rating too? I trust puffy more than I do the Nationalists at some points (cough, garry, cough)

RPGs, FPS, RTS (the core genres) are far better on the PC. There is so much more room for expansion, community, graphics, game play, multiplayer. And if you're in to graphics the consoles are pretty ugly sept the xbox. Two years from now PC games will probably be rendering 10 times the polygons as a PS2, and have many times the computing power which will yield a superior physics engine. Something that can take involvement into your games many many steps further.
