A new mailbag is up and up! This week we take a look at some newbie advice. Here is one great submission:

The best advice that I could give is to watch someone who already knows the basics of the game. Not just watching through spectator mode, but finding a buddy who has CS and spending a couple hours fragging and eating prawn chips. After the newbie has seen his/her friend play a few rounds, then it's time for him/her to take the controls, with his/her friend giving helpful tips, such as "Turn left here!" or "Hit 'G' to drop your gun and pick up the AK!" or "Type 'kill' in the console!"

It has sort of a double meaning there, haha. The original news post was about delaying steam, and the steaming was added in there to make it sound more crappy! HEHE!

Score has nothing to do with how good you are......its the guns you use. For example, I use the scout on de_dust while there are six people on the other side of the "bridge" with AWPs and quickly head shot all of them. They promptly call me a hacker and bann me, just because I am that good with a gun no one ever uses.....its about skill not score.
