I think moving from Sierra to Activision is a great thing. Sierra has been doing nothing but putting out horrible games for a while now. Have any of you seen Die Hard Vendetta?

lol, the activision server is grounded, well pld csnation :P

and why is everyone worried about activision taking over? valve is still the same company, a publishing company such as activision, EA, sierra etc dont contribute to the game at all, they just put the game into the box with their sticker on it. dont forget kids, valve are the ones coding and programming the game....so in effect, it doesnt matter who the publisher is.

New in DoD 1.0 Retail is the British class, it's no longer just a "Allied" class. Graphical updates, etc. I'm still puzzled by this one though:

What's that in the hands of the guy on the right?

As for Valve going with Activision... I don't think this means the end of their relation with Sierra, just yet. But if Condition Zero bombs where it matters most (sales) then I think Haklin's theory will be correct.

activision publishes some pretty good games. now Acclaim, that's a bad company.

I want to read Nighthawk's extremely literate post about his opinion on these matters. It's always well though out and brings us all great insight. (NOT SARCASM)

Activision's got some great games under their belt, including the Tony Hawk games. Acclaim and EA are two of my least favourite gaming companies.

And Blankster, Activision wouldn't do anything to the graphics, they're simply publishing, not developing.
