The guy truly is a moron though, its always changing for a reason.. to keep it FUN. Dont you ever guyt he feeling soccer/basketball/baseball players get bored with playing the same old game for extended amounts of time? Tbh.. it might become more of a job/chore to do it for the money.

That article must be a troll ? While reading it trough, I found 5+ objections to each of the writers' claims why pro gaming sucks.. Poorly written article, it's clear that the writer hasn't even thought about the matter before writing, don't read it if you haven't, you won't get any smarter.

Color CS commentary can be diverting when players are good. The unfortunate thing about professional gaming is that people start taking themselves seriously (same thing that makes watching sports on TV stupid too). So, when watching CS, use a lot of foul language and try to jeer players and encourage stupid behavior. Thats how to make it more fun.

First off it is not a sport. It is a competition, or tournement. To be a sport you need to have some phyisical exertion. For the most part I do agree with the article. I do play in CAL-DoD still. I do it for fun though. Public play bores me and playing a planned match with good players is more enjoyable. I don't care if I'm ever the best because it's just a game. I just do it for entertainment and to have fun in my spare time. It also lets me relax. That's it. I watched that MTV special. I never noticed how many freaks there are. Playing video games should never be who you are, just something you do. And people are just trying to justify they're addictions by calling it a sport. Spending that much time playing video games is unhealth and pathetic.
