Anyways, sure I agree Xbox has great graphics and such (no shit, it uses nVidia graphic chip), but I EXTREMELY HATE first person's using a joystick. You can't aim as fast as a mouse, and so really CSX'ers are going to get pwnz0rz by PCS'ers (I just made that word up lol). I'd get CSX if my computer sucks, but it doesn't :)

You can mod the xbox too, with a 140 gig hard drive, and you can copy every game right to it. And with the right chip you can still use your xbox live. The chips also enable your xbox as a file server so you can share save games, media (yes you can play mp3s and divx and all sorts of movies off your xbox hd), and other "backed up games" over the lan.



FYI I have all three of the current gaming consoles (XBOX, PS2, and GC,) and I think that the XBOX is the best because it has most of the same games as the other ones, they run better, and hmm for PS2 you have GTA and GT3, both get old. For GC you have Mario, Metroid, and maybe one other I am forgetting but once you beat them what are you going to do? I have 30 XBOX games and only of them is bad (POW, which is on other systems also)



Oh Yeah...

Some good XBOX only games are: Halo (yeah you saw that coming,) Steel Battalion (yeah it costs a bundle,) Project Gotham, Unreal Championship, Medal of Honor (it is on PS2 but it is 4 player on XBOX,) Splinter Cell (yeah it came out for the others but it looks better and you can download new levels on XBOX,) Mechassault, Amped, House of the Dead III.

Soon: CSX, Halo2, Star Wars KOTOR, Matrix (enhanced for XBOX but on all 3 consoles), and the list goes on...



On a side note... HALF-LIFE 2 is gonna pwn, I cant wait

They made those mid game sequences just to show off their body.

True, it has simple gameplay/mechanics, but then you would have to say Mario Tennis/Virtua Tennis are dumb games as well (which is false). In all actuality they are quite fun and easy to get into. The game also is good for showing off the true power of the X-Box.

I will only buy CS if it is 4-Player Split Screen, otherwise its not worth it, even though I think it will still be a decent game on X-Box.

CSX:



Pros:



1. No hacks. Ok, so there are modification chips for the X-Box that can be used to hack into it and edit save game stuff, and may potentially be used to create hacks or cheats such as aimbot or wallhack. X-Box Live checks your system for any foreign chips and if you have them, you get banned. Lets break this down:

Mod Chip = Hax

XBLive = No Mod Chip

:. XBLive = No hax



2. Mobility. I mean really, who wants to lug their entire PC over to someone's house to play CS? Setting up LAN games with XBox will be much easier, and it will not have as many bugs.



3. Split Screen. Yes, I hear you out there, "resolution will suck", "FPS will suck", "Gay then they can see you". Man what I would give to just duke it out with 3 other friends in CS without all the lan/bugs/performance problems of PCs. Split screen should be easily done on X-Box, its only the Half-Life engine beefed up, and they made Half-Life run just fine on PS2 which has 1/2 the power of X-Box.



4. Can you say 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound? Fuck em' up?



CONS:



1. Resolution won't be as high, but it will still look pretty decent, playable, there are a lot of people who play in software mode on 320x240 and 640x480.



2. Network: I doubt it will be more than 16 players, maybe 20.



3. Content: Hardly any model downloads, however new maps will probably been seen for DL.



4. Control: Yeah, we all know console controls for 3d shooters totally sucks compared to PC, but X-Box DOES have the best controller for 3d shooters for any console (except N64).

Yeah XBOX does have a gameshark of sorts. Intec makers of gameshark got bought by datel. Datel makes Action Replay. Action Replay is available on XBOX. I work in babbages. I have to know this bullshit

I dont think its a good idea to buy a console worth $200 for one game, unless that particular game u cannot live without then that is understandable. Condition Zero is coming out for PC, which is the best choice for all CS fans, since we are used to playing with the keyboard and mouse. XBOX uses a giant oversized control, which be little harder to use...LONG LIVE CS...
