Are you kidding me? No way I'm gonna buy an X-Box just for the "exclusive" content. For one thing, I give mappers about fifteen minutes to take the new maps and put them on the PC. In addition, I really don't see spiffier graphics and a few [cheezy] new weapons being worth the cost of a whole new system. I'm happy with CS on my old compy 386.



Now Halo 2...THAT might induce me to purchase an X-Box...

Well, I have a shitty computer, so I do most of my gaming on console (Both PS2 and XBox). Although this laptop I'm on now is pretty good, I like having a variety. I'll be sure to check out both CS:CZ on the XBox and Computer. I'll probably get them both, since my bro often uses the computer to play CS, so I could play on the Xbox.

thats funny you ask that, because I bought my x-box over a year ago specifically because Condition Zero was coming out on it, and was supposed to drop on November 2002.. but it didnt happen, and well I fell in love with it anyway, I love movies so I use it as a dvd player most of the time :P

i bought the xbox because the matrix chip is easy to install. it's nice not needing that stupid xbox remote to play dvds. and of course, those other features the matrix unlocks are cool too.

and maybe this has been addressed before, but Rizzuh, do the designers behind the GriffenRun.com advertisement know that there are no hostages on that map?

Yes the DVD on XBox is sweet, and a lot of people complain about not enough people playing XBox live. There are a lot more people getting on every day, Live just came out a little over four months ago so you can't judge it by that because CSX will probably be out this Christmas. When computers came out not everyone in the world went and bought a computer within five months. We will have to see how the Live community responds and I think it will grown in the next few months tremendously. With more and more people getting a cable modem or DSL over a dial up with another phone line. But I believe that buy December the number of people on XBox live will greatly increase. I play Mechassualt, Ghost Recon, and Unreal on Live and the number of people have grown to massive proportions. I have a feeling the game will be great. What garry said was right about the sitting away from the TV thing, I have my chair about 6 feet from my TV so I'm OK. The LAN ability should be sweet too. My god I've got to go play CS again.

Im not cised for it. I got used to the Goledeye64 control scheme, then I played CS and cant do it. Unless some one (M$) comes out with a mouse and KeyBoard for it, it will not be funt o play and there will be tons of uber noobs who like all other console gamers buy agame, play it 1 week and quit. Then of course with the cheating thing, you have to remeber about Gameshark and that other shit whatever it is called now. They will find a way. So no I wont be buying an XBox for it. I dont think it is a system seller ala Halo 1 or 2, GTA III, Gran Turismo, Zelda, Metroid, etc... I probably will nto be buying an xbox because i have no room for that bitch in my entertainment center and i hate the controller, even the S version. Ppl say the gamecube controller is bad for sports, i thnk the XBox one is too.

Ok, is it just me, or is a syringe a really retarded idea for a realistic counter-terroism/terroism game? For some reason I find it hard for the terroists to include a needle in their arsenal of weapons, unless they need to be vaccinated... but hey, looks some of them might be in the middle west. Watch out for small pox...

don't see it happening (at all), but what if in future releases of games, not just cs, consoles and pcs could run on a united platform and play against each other online. prolly wont happen, but hey its a nice thought...

Doubtfully. CZ on XBox will be CZ on XBox and won't be able to play with fellow PC players. Which makes a lot of sense if you ask me.

The only thing they should perfect would be the controlling system, true there is a new plugin that will allow you to use ANY keyboard with the Xbox (just for Phantasy Star Online though).



I bought my xbox during first release and have been having problems with the dvd-rom reading movies/games ever since, so just recently I had to ship it off Microsoft and have it fixed. :\

DOA:Beach Volley ball is simply a game to reach out to the hardcore nerds who have never even reached 1st base..

When I did play it...it was like 99% based on the chicks body and what not.If you flame me about this.S T F U.

I beat the actual game in like... 1 hour..yah it's a sport game but..i dont even play over 5 hours in gaming/pc a week , so im just a mediocore gamer.
