If you're going to engage in copyright infringement by posting pages from PC Gamer magazine on this site, at least have the sense not to show your name and address on the cover scan. It just makes life so much easier for our lawyers who get very touchy about this kind of offense.

agreed, I didn't mean to pick that one feature as the main reason it would need a decent cpu/gphx card, it's just one part of what looks like a major facelift (blocky lightmap around the guy fireing aside) that looks to be an overall demanding game.



That said, as Chris D noted, it's not like Valve are going to make a game that isn't going to work for most people, but I'm expecting some people will be unchecking some of the fancier options seen in that screenshot to keep the fps up..

I wouldn't worry mate. I've got a feeling someone's either messing you around, or PCG wont be able to do anything because they sent you the magazine by mistake. In fact, I reckon that PCG might get in trouble with Valve for leaking the magazine to the public in the first place.

Of course, now you know we're all going to have to go out and buy copies of PCG as soon as it comes out. Then we'll double check to see if CGW has different pictures, and pick up a copy of that too, and then... :)
