Eli Vance is the name of Alyx's mom, the scientist from the original.



Aside from "barneys" there will be one main "fleshed out" sidekick. Also a new alien threat that is more "organized and sinister."



It goes on to say that the eyes move depending on which way the character looks, realistically. They even implemented the 4 degree offset in the eyes so they dont look directly ahead, which would cause everyone to walk crosseyed.

HL2 all i can say is WOW and thats just after seeing the small screens that have been released or leaked..think about what we havent seen yet...September isnt actually that far away guys ...although it might seem like it

I'm not trying to get on your case here, but separating classes of individuals doesn't seem to be your strong point. :) A race is a specific genetic type of a species, in humans often distinguished by skin color. Genocide is the systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group.



So as far as what you were doing on Xen, the accepted term (you're going to laugh and laugh) is xenocide. I'm actually not joking, that's the real term for exterminating (or attempting to exterminate) an entire strange or foreign species, in particular, an alien species. Ironic, no?

I can't believe all these people that never finished the original Half-Life single player experience. I've gone through it a few times (each difficulty setting) in regular play and twice with Counter-Life. Every time I don't like Xen much, but it's still a great experience!



Another thought. On Xen you see a bunch of dead warriors around you and such, so obviously you weren't the only ones who figured out how to teleport to that planet. You have to wonder if it will be revealed who had been sending these unfortunate warriors to their doom, and if there's any of that team remaining.



Still jittery with excitement, lol. Man, I almost wish none of this had gotten leaked, because right now even Fall seems too damn far away!



BTW... anyone else getting "internal server error... please try again" messages if you try to post more than a line or so? I'm having to do an initial post of a word or so, then come back and edit it to fill in my actual message... is this just me?
