ShackNews posted some nice cover art from everyone's favorite magazine, PC Gamer. The cover features the popular character Gordon along with a female counterpart. This female has also appeared on the cover of PC Gameplay posing alongside Mr. Freeman. Who is this mysterious woman? Perhaps we'll find out more info on our woman at E3.
This issue of PC Gamer will be hitting shelves on May 8th, so be sure to rush to your local supermarket as soon as it's out. I'd like to take a moment to apologize for the deletion of an earlier screenshot posted by our own rizzuh. We saw other sites pulling their screenies and we removed the picture as well. Apologies to those who were confused by the abduction.
Update: BBC is running an article on their site about the upcoming HL2. There aren't all that many interesting bits but I'm sure anyone that's interested will view it anyway. The article suggests a little competition between Doom III and HL2. Could Half-Life 2 seriously challenge Doom III as the next best thing? If history repeats itself, which it does, HL2 is sure to be a big hit. The question is, however, how big? Read the whole article here.
